True mates: 

Like their ancestors, the wild wolves, the wolves only have one true mate. Never do they breed outside of their true mates, females can only become pregnant with her true mat. True mates are bonded through their souls, with that  if one dies the other dies, if one is in danger their mate can feel it. 

How does one find their true mate:

First off a tattoo forms on the couple showing their rank, but it also has an extra symbol on it (i.e. a sword, a paw print, a butterfly. The couples get to decided and it will go on this page under the “Taken Symbols” So no one else takes your symbol). Secondly you get ancy or nervous when that person is away from you, it’s like you have to constantly be near them. Third you will be able to hear each other’s thoughts after a touch, this can be like a paw touch it doesn’t have to be sexual. 

 

True mate lore:

When Hap watched her wolves come into this world all she saw was creatures fighting mates. Males were attacking one another and the females were killing others to get into the running for a dominant male. Her heart hurt watching these creatures hurting one another. In her pain, the ground shook and terror ran through the world. The High Priestess ran quickly to the temple and saw the sleeping Goddess sobbing. The priestess carefully went to the Goddess and used her magic to seep into the Goddess’s mind. “What’s wrong my lady?” She asked softly and felt the turmoil in the Goddess.

 

“My children are killing each other and I need to stop it, but I am too weak to wake up. Please help me with your magic.” The sweet voice of Hap rang into the priestesses mind. With a bow the priestess laid next to the Goddess and told her to take all the magic she needed. Power pulled from the priestess, her body going weak as the Goddess grew stronger. Then power was released around the lands, wolves were hit with it and they all crumbled to the ground. Her voice then rang through their minds.

“Due to your behaviour as of this day, your soulmate will be a gift to you. Upon meeting them a symbol will appear on your bodies. This will be the mate you have for life. There will no longer be any fighting for your mate and there will no longer be blood to soak the lands over love!” Her voice faded and the wolves were able to get up, the ground stopped shaking and the world seemed to be quiet and peaceful. The Goddess’s body relaxed and the priestess collapsed with her power coming back to her. She fainted next to her Goddess and fell into a deep deep sleep. 

 

How to find a soulmate: 

• When you thread with wolf that is your wolves sexual preference then an admin will roll for you if they will be soulmates or not. 

  • If an admin rolls an even number of 2, 4, 6 then they are soul mates

  • If an admin rolls an odd number of 1, 3, 5 then they are not soul mates.

  • After a week you can have an admin roll again to try and get your wolves to be soulmates.
