Rules

 

Member Rules:

  • All characters manips and code tables must have a link or accreditation to the original image website so the owner is credited.

    • Plagiarism is a thing, people! I don’t want my website being shut down for it!

  • You’re only allowed ONE  alpha position and that means if you take an alpha position you cannot become beta in another pack.

    • Alpha’s mates will be either the alpha female/male, that position cannot be taken by a character that is not mated to the alpha. This does not count as your one alpha position, but only one of your characters may be mated to an Alpha at a time. That way it allows other players to have a chance at a higher rank in the packs.

  • Fighting with another member is not allowed PERIOD. If someone is making you angry or harassing you please contact the owner via email. The problem will be dealt with accordingly.

    • Please include a screenshot of the entire argument. If both parties wish to send screenshots and an outside party wishes to do the same that is fine as well.

  • Fighting between characters are allowed, but only in the proper place and with an admin or mod around. Do not fight without one of them there.

    • We do not fight to kill.

    • The fighting arena will have its own rules that you must follow. Please read them and the “How to fight” post under the Roleplay school forum.

  • There is no breeding outside of True mates. This is due to wolves only mating with their mate and they mate for life. Your characters children will not be born if you try breeding outside of a true mate.

    • More explanation under the “True mate”

  • This is a community, do not make others feel unwelcome and purposely try and make them feel unwelcome, that will not happen here. This is a safe haven for everyone don’t make it not one.

  • Cussing is allowed, but only in portions. We don’t mind seeing some cursing, every 30 seconds is not permitted. If that happens you will get a strike/warning.

  • When asked to stop by a mod or an admin please listen

    • We don’t enjoy arguments and we don’t like when others argue.

  • Swearing is allowed in posts, as long as the other members you are RPing with have okayed this beforehand.

    • Please do not argue with a member if they ask you to cut down on your swearing.

    • If more than 3 swear words are used in your post please make it have the [M] for mature content in the thread name.

  • If you are using HTML coded tables and it has music, it cannot be on autoplay.

    • In your thread name please use the [P] for Playing music even though it is not on Auto.

    • If you fail to do any of these things and are asked to fix it and don’t you will be on temporary leave for 1 week

  • Be mindful that some players have vision issues and cannot handle extremely bright colours, moving or flashing images.

    • Please keep colours soft, but be creative!

    • For moving or flashing Images use a tag [MI].

  • Do not use thread drama as a means to attack a member OOC, you will get only 3 warning before banning happens.

    • This includes yelling at a member for what their wolf did.

    • Causing drama in chats or privately attacking a player over the thread.

  • Currently members cannot join more than 2 foxes, 1 jaguar, 3 horses, and 4 wolves. You have 20 character slots in total, were saving the other 10 for babies!

    • Every six months players receive 10 more slots. So that would be 2 more foxes to join, 1 more jaguar, 3 horses, and 4 more wolves.

    • The ten new slots for joining a character does not count for babies! Babies will always have free slots after your original 20 are filled. But remember everyone loves babies so please don't steal away all the babies!

 

Derogatory Marks:

  • The derogatory marks is fairly easy to understand. Violating rules more than once gets you 1 point. If you get up to 5 points, you will be put on a probationary period from the site for 1 week and if its continued, you will be told to leave.

    • We do have the ability to ban your iP address. I would really hate to have to do that to someone we view as a friend. So please follow the rules.

 

Activity points:

  • There will be a forum specifically for this but here are some standard rules.

  • Points are collected every 6 months.

    • Seasons change within the six months, but at the end, in the game year we collect points

  • If there is something you want but don't have the points to buy it other players can help you out!

  • If you want something and have the points for it, you can tally up how many points you have currently and turn them in. They cannot be recounted at the end of the 6 months

  • You can have savings and add points in there at the end of the 6 months.

    • You can take points out of savings at any time.

  • Items go into your item inventory, which will be found on your member page.

  • Points can be taken away for an incorrect recording of points.

  • The season will be described in the points page.

 

Hunt rules:

  • To ask for a hunt the post must be at least 300 words.

  • Admins will roll what type of animal you are hunting. It will be a 1-6 roll counter.

    • Small birds

    • Rabbit

    • Snake

    • Whitetail deer

    • Elk

  • If you are hunting with 1 or more members of your pack the dice will be rolled twice for a bigger prey

    • 7-9 is a moose

    • 10-12 is a bear.

  • For a successful hunt, another 6 dice will be rolled

    • 1-3 is an unsuccessful hunt.

    • 4-6 is successful.

  • Even if the roll is unsuccessful it's still standard to finish the hunt. Hunting fails still give you points towards your “yearly” point collection.


 

Breeding rules:

  • Wolves cannot breed without a True mate like wolves on earth they mate for life.

    • Some wolves can have more than 1 True mate but not more than 3 wolves can be true mates to one another.

  • Breeding is rolled as well by 6 dice.

    • 1,3,5 mean breeding was unsuccessful

    • 2,4,6 means a successful litter

  • Litter size will also be rolled by 6 dice. You can have up to 6 pups per litter. Obviously, 1-6 is the number of pups.

  • Pup and mom's health is also rolled.

    • 1 is blind.

    • 2 is death.

    • 3 is an immune system defective.

    • 4 is stillborn.

    • 5 is missing a limb.

    • 6 perfect health.

    • 7-9 mom's health stays normal

    • 10 mom's immune system is shot for 1 season

    • 11 mom has internal bleeding and is close to dying but makes it.

    • 12 mother miscarried the litter or dies (option up to the player.)

  • After your health is rolled an admin will roll again to see which pup gets the health defect. If the pups get a 6 then everyone is 100% healthy!

  • Admins will also give you a description of the pups based on the parents.

  • All rolling rules is the same per species

  • Jaguars do not have to have a soulmate in order to breed, but they cannot have Cubs without having a life mate.

    • This means they can screw around with anyone, but unless they have a life mate no Cubs will come from their encounters.

  • Foxes and Equine are the only animals on Luna that can breed and have pups or foals without having a life mate or a soul mate.

  • Breeding for wolves happens in the winter months and the birth at the end of spring.

  • Jaguars can breed during the fall months and birth in the summer

  • Foxes breed in winter like wolves and birth in the springtime. Before a fox breeds they have to have their mating approved by the council.

    • You cannot breed with the same fox one season after you breed to it. Unless it is your chosen mate.

  • Horses breed in the spring and birth in the fall.

  • Once a baby is born, 6 months after that day, they must age and continue to age until they are 3.

 

Packs & Territories:

  • An Alpha of a wolf pack must okay you entering their domain. If you enter without the allowance from the alpha, without a warning the alpha's player is allowed to terminate your animal.

    • You can buy an item to bring your animal back, but you may only use the item once and the post to bring them back must be 1000+ words.

  • Entering the Jaguar Hierarchy must be granted by the king or queen.

    • The only way to enter without their approval is if your animal has been granted to come and go as they please.

    • Jaguars will kill any intruder without asking questions. ANY jaguar can kill an intruder without the king or queens approval, they will not attack if the animal is allowed to be there.

  • Entering into the Herd lands with the horses they will not attack you, but you may also not find them. They will be protective of their young.

    • If your animal inters with the intent to harm the herd, the lead Stallion will fight you to the death, either opponent can win or lose. If the lead Stallion dies, it goes to the heir of the stallion.

  • The Fox Clan allows anyone to enter, but entering may be hazardous to your health. Foxes are tricksters and will happily torment your mind for entering their territory without permission.

  • Both the Jaguar and the Wolf territories leaders cannot be overthrown in a fight. If the King or the Alpha die their lands must be passed down to the heir. If the player goes inactive then the lands will be uninhabitable until there is a new player to take over the lands.

    • If the player goes inactive that tends to mean the heir is inactive too so it will not be passed down to the Heir at this point. Also if the player is banned or has left the site the lands are free to grab.

  • The Horse Lands are broken up by two lead stallions each having their own herds. The lead Stallion can be overthrown, but only by the heir. Or if the lead stallion from the other herd wants to take over that stallions mares.

    • In the case of the lead stallion taking over the other lead stallion’s herd, the herd stallions cannot join stallion A’s herd unless he has granted them entrance.

    • Herd stallions can start a new herd, but only if there is only 1 herd on the horse lands.

  • Horses are the only animal on Luna that can have a group out of their lands. They can have a harem of no more than 1 stallion to 3 mares. Any mare that comes into foal with will have to leave and find a safe place for their foal because then the harem would be considered a herd.

    • There is no lead mare in a harem.

  • Taking over a wolf pack you need 3 wolves plus the alpha. You cannot own any of those three wolves.

    • The post must be 300 words or less.

    • To keep a pack active without a cryosleep, you need 6 active wolves plus the alpha. 3 of those can be yours

Magic:

  • Wolves can have 1 elemental magical power. They cannot be overpowered, they cannot say that no one can touch them became they have magic.

  • You must be granted permission to have magic or buy the magic on the prize page!

  • Magic can be stripped from your wolf if you use it recklessly.

  • The magic must be approved by an admin or the owner on the join page.

  • MAGIC IS ONLY TO BE USED WITH WOLVES AT THIS TIME!
